What this game does
Medium
-
Expiring battle pass
You buy a pass and have weeks to use it. Play too little and you lose what you paid for.
Evidence: Wikipedia (en): «The game received two major expansions, Rise and Fall (2018) and Gathering Storm (2019), as well as two season passes, the New Frontier Pass (2020-21) and the Leader Pass (2022-23).»
Minor
-
Sold in parts
The full game costs more than the price on the box: there is separate paid content. Not a dirty trick, but worth knowing before buying.
Evidence: vende contenido aparte, p. ej. «Sid Meier's Civilization® VI: New Frontier Pass» por 39,99 € · Wikipedia (es): «Hasta el momento hay un total de 50 civilizaciones y 54 líderes si se incluye todos los DLC y las expansiones.» · Wikipedia (en): «The Aztecs, led by Montezuma I, was a pre-order DLC until becoming free to all players on January 19, 2017.»
