What this game does

Premium currency

You do not pay in euros, you pay in gems, so you lose track of the real cost.

Evidence: Wikipedia (en): «Throughout the game's world, checkpoints enable fast travel and allow players to improve their attributes using an in-game currency called runes.»

Sold in parts

The full game costs more than the price on the box: there is separate paid content. Not a dirty trick, but worth knowing before buying.

Evidence: vende contenido aparte, p. ej. «ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree Premium Bundle» por 49,99 € · Wikipedia (es): «En junio de 2024, se publicó el contenido descargable Shadow of the Erdtree,el cual recibió elogios similares de la crítica, vendiendo más de 5 millones de unidades.» · Wikipedia (en): «The downloadable content (DLC) Shadow of the Erdtree follows the player character in the Land of Shadow.»
