What this game does

Premium currency

You do not pay in euros, you pay in gems, so you lose track of the real cost.

Evidence: Wikipedia (en): «Players can sell loot collected in-game for Koen, an in-game currency, which can be traded with the system or other players to purchase additional equipment and play again.»
